Totally fuss-free bread that clamors for attention on your breakfast table.
Moist and flavorful…Just the bread to whip up!
1 ½ cups AP Flour
1 tbsp dark brown sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
3 tbsp oil
1 cup yogurt
Handful cranberries (dried and sweetened) and resins
½ tsp orange flower water/zest
¼ tsp anise seeds
½ tsp cinnamon powder
Preheat oven to 200 degree C
Grease and flour a round baking pan, and set aside.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon.
In another bowl, combine oil, egg, orange flower water and yogurt.
Add wet mixture to dry mixture, and whisk to combine; fold in cranberries, resins and anise seeds to make soft dough.
Do not overwork the dough.
Shape it into an oblong, arrange some cranberries on top, dust some flour on top and transfer it into the prepared pan.
Bake at 200 degrees C for about 25 to 30 minutes.
Transfer pan to a wire rack; let bread cool 30 minutes.
Slice, eat plain or just dab some butter and enjoy!
